Mt. Washington Valley SCORE Chapter 641
The Mt. Washington Valley SCORE chapter was founded in 1997 with its first office in the basement of the Bank of NH. As the chapter grew, many new counselors joining were also members of the MWV Economic Council (MWVEC). It made a great deal of sense for the chapter to form a collaborative relationship with the Council and be housed under the same roof. The chapter subsequently moved with the MWVEC from Center Conway to its present quarters in the Technology Village.
With access to high speed broadband internet service, conference rooms and the Business Information Center, the SCORE chapter offers clients a wide range of counseling services, workshops and access to nation-wide SCORE resources. Since its beginning, the local SCORE chapter has counseled over 700 clients.
In recent years, SCORE counselors have been instrumental in the successful start-up of such businesses as The Met, the Village Bakery, Charles Double Reed/Music Shop, Rapid Insight, Cabin Fever, and True North Veterinary Hospital (see Success Stories). Counselors have also helped numerous businesses with financing, marketing, advertising, cash flow analyses, sales projections, use of the internet and social media. The Mt. Washington SCORE chapter is comprised of local retired and employed, owners/executives who are committed to delivering quality advice and information to our clients. We invite you to explore our web site to learn about SCORE’s services in the small business community. There are five other SCORE chapters in NH.
